Alberta-born artist, Annette Resler, has a resume of life experiences which lead her into the world of art and painting. She credits her powerful love for the craft to her Mom. Annette and her husband live in Okotoks, Alberta. One entry on her resume would say that she enjoyed many years as a stay at home mom to two terrific sons. Hubby and sons encourage and support Annette’s passion, plus they don’t seem to mind when she plays her music a little too loudly. Annette continues to hone her skills as an artist in her home studio, usually with an eclectic selection of music playing in the background. She also paints en plein air at every opportunity. The challenge of focus, colour mixing and working in varied light (and weather) conditions of the great outdoors is what she calls "magical".
